One Beat. One City. All Ball

KOJO partnered with the NBL to deliver the Hoopsfest 2026 Sports Presentation and Fan Zone, transforming Perth’s RAC Arena and Forrest Place into a high-energy, culture-driven basketball experience that extended far beyond the game itself.

Across four days and multiple matchups, we created a cohesive show environment that unified NBL and WNBL content, engaging fans through every moment of the game day journey.

Designed around the creative platform “One Beat. One City. All Ball.”, the presentation blended cinematic pre-game build-ups, dynamic team entry sequences, live entertainment, and in-game content to maintain energy from tip-off to final buzzer. Key moments including the Hoopsfest hype showpiece, starting five introductions, and cultural elements such as the Welcome to Country elevated the atmosphere and reinforced the identity of the event.

KOJO delivered the full content and production ecosystem, including motion graphics, live stats integration, music curation, lighting and special effects, and management of venue-wide displays such as the centre-hung cube, courtside LEDs, and the custom Slam Wall. This integrated approach ensured a consistent visual language and seamless storytelling across all screens and touchpoints. As the central coordination point between the NBL, broadcast, talent, and technical suppliers, KOJO managed show development, rehearsals, crewing, and live delivery across all match days.

The result was a scalable and immersive sports presentation that amplified crowd energy, celebrated basketball culture, and set a new benchmark for league-wide event experiences.

Hoop Nation Fan Zone

Over multiple days, we created a dynamic activation hub that became the central gathering point for fans, families, and basketball enthusiasts, offering premium opportunities for commercial partners to connect with highly engaged audiences.

Designed as a high-energy festival environment, the Fan Zone blended live entertainment, interactive basketball experiences, food and beverage offerings, player appearances, and bespoke partner activations to amplify the spirit of the game beyond the arena.

KOJO managed commercial partner activations end-to-end, from briefing and creative development through to staffing, on-site coordination, bump-in and bump-out. Major partners including Crocs and Spalding delivered immersive brand moments such as the Crocs fan engagement zone and chill-out lounge, creating standout experiences that resonated with attendees and strengthened brand affinity.

As the central coordination point between the NBL’s commercial team, partners, the City of Perth, and suppliers, KOJO ensured seamless integration of every activation into the overarching fan journey.

All Ball. All New.

Breathing new life into the visuals for Hoopsfest 2026, KOJO introduced a layered and vibrant toolkit that was then rolled out across all marketing, promotion and sports presentation deliverables. The refresh featured a realignment of all master brand elements. Drawing inspiration from the streets, the sound, and the community, we were able to create a consistent visual framework and animated motion toolkit that introduced rhythmic patterns and recurring design cues, that enabled a sense of movement across every touchpoint of the festival.
