For the third year running, KOJO partnered with the AFL to deliver Gather Round, a four-day festival of footy that brings all 18 clubs to South Australia. More than just another fixture, Gather Round cemented is place as cultural moment that unites fans, clubs, partners and venues in a celebration of the game.

KOJO delivered sport presentation across Adelaide Oval, Norwood Oval and the Barossa Valley, managing content, branding, music, entertainment, venue technology, GFX packages, digital activations and physical brand experiences. Highlights included a new stadium-wide laser and lighting show, bespoke team content packages, ensuring each game its own identity, and integrated activations that created value for fans and commercial partners alike.

Gather Round has cemented its place as a signature event on the sporting calendar, delivering cultural impact, commercial return and unforgettable moments for fans.

Record breaking results

 
Gather Round 2025 drew 269,506 fans across four sold out days and generated $91.6M in economic contribution. More than 45,000 visitors travelled to South Australia, with interstate fans making up a third of attendees. Visitor nights surpassed 191,000, while regional venues like the Barossa saw attendance more than double year on year.
