HITTING THE BIG TIME WITH MIXED REALITY
In 2022, the ICC vowed to bring cricket fans closer to the game than ever before. After all, BIG TIME cricket deserves BIG TIME experiences – and KOJO were primed to help.
Working closely with ICC TV and Local Organising Committees, we designed and delivered a mixed reality digital experience that smashed expectations. Capturing the excitement of spectators at home and in-stadium alike, we delivered a 1-minute showpiece consisting of pre-recorded and real time footage on the big screen of the MCG. In doing so, we fused the digital world with the real world, made giants of athletes, and united fans the world over.
Our mixed reality digital experience reached over 750 million viewers across ICC platforms and broadcast TV, and over 250,000 fans in-stadium. We’d call that a BIG TIME success.
