KOJO partnered with the AFL on the successful delivery of the 2024 Gather Round across 9 games in 4 days and at 3 different venues with a total attendance of 265,000.
Awarded as the Sports Presentation and Experience agency, we were able to bring all of our service capabilities together to deliver on a comprehensive program that covered technical, experience, content, creative and digital to deliver fan experiences at scale.
One of the key objectives for the round outlined by the AFL was to elevate the fan experiences in new and innovative ways and deliver a consistent experience across the weekend matches. Using our tailored KOJO process, we were able to develop a clear creative and production framework that enabled us to work closely with the AFL events team on their requirements, whilst identifying opportunities to push the boundaries and offer new experiences to fans.
This resulted in us delivering on physical activations, entertainment coordination, game day technical production and show calling, a suite of Big Screen and LED creative content including a AFL captains day shoot and live technical in-match graphic delivery.
